honestly since tumblr killed replies i feel like much of the reason i preferred tumblr to other sites has gone away, we’re all basically screaming into the void, we can’t show affection to other users like we used to, conversations aren’t open for anyone on your dash anymore, it’s very one-on-one, shy people who maybe don’t want to message someone in private right away have it so much harder, the little thoughts, like compliments or jokes aren’t important enough to warrant an entire message of their own, it’s really such a secluding experience and i really miss the days were people would simply reply “<3″ and you’d know someone cared
