I needed to draw for myself after 2 weeks of work only, and Sheith was all I had in mind. I missed them so much. Also good excuse to practice sketch and line art.

It wasn’t until Shiro was visibly fatigued and aching from the days work that something severely worrying clicked in Keith’s mind. They had trained over 50 new recruits just today, and Shiro hadn’t let himself sit on the sidelines. Not even when he had meetings and endless stacks of paperwork that needed to be done. Everyone wanted to be trained by the Captain of The Atlas and he was eager to lead.
Even though Shiro was a master at hiding his pain, Keith had seen the energy drain from his body slowly throughout the day. He knew what he really needed was a long, hot shower, a good meal and a long night of rest. But Shiro wouldn’t allow himself the luxury. Time was ‘short and essential to progress’ and his responsibilities held him wide awake though he was withering below the surface.
Keith didn’t try to hide his blatant eagerness when he followed Shiro out of the training hall when all the new recruits were gone and the place was cleaned.
Shiro stopped in the hall outside of his quarters and turned with a gentle knowing look, “Keith… I’m fine.”
