Also another reminder that all of us just want to have fun too and it’s not the people who speak out against racism and antisemitism who are killing the fun. It’s the racists and antisemites. Of all the vareties of leftist anti-Semites, I think my favourites (i.e. THE WORST) are the ones who have convinced themselves that all claims of anti-Semitism are actually some sort of strategic Zionist plot to derail the Palestinian cause to the point where they actually believe being anti-Semitic is some sort of moral imperative for the sake of justice, so you’ll get a situation where I, a Jewish person of South Asian descent will say something like “I hope all anti-Semites have a terrible day!” and then some 22-year-old white boy in Bradford will be like “Wow, just say you hate all brown people and leave.”
