izzy-lightwood: get to know me meme: 6/10 female characters → leia organa (star wars)“Listen, I don’t know who you are, or where you came from, but from now on, you do as I tell you. Okay?”
I normally don’t comment on posts like this but HOLY SHIT I can tell you that this sort of thing is EXTREMELY helpful if you need to buff up your resume a bit.

You gotta look at your hobbies and boil them down to what you’re really doing. Everything you do gives you experience in SOMETHING, you just gotta figure out how to word it in different ways.
It depends on what level of monsters you’re talking about? I prefer mine looking vaguely humanoid, so I’m not as kinky as they come, but if I had to nail down why I love the trope so much I guess its because it deconstructs what it means to be human/sentient, which isn’t actually “looking like a human.” You can be human, physically, but an absolutely horrific person through your actions. “Monsters” can subvert this on a variety of different levels, either by not being monstrous at all or by reflecting our own monstrous actions back at us (as Azrael did in the Land of the Beautiful Dead–he’s mimicking the torture that was done to him centuries ago, by humans).
Monster love interests–as a metaphor–also allow you to explore the idea of being in love with a “monstrous” significant other through a really decontextualized, often fantastical safe space that you wouldn’t get to explore otherwise, and I think that’s important.
Also, its just kinda hot and I dig the forbidden element to it. Size kink man. The HORNS, and WINGS. I’m a simple woman.
From a cut scene from Star Wars: A New hope. Luke and Han congratulated each other after they escaped the Death Star and TIE fighters. I believe this took place just before the Han and Leia cockpit scene.
