sometimes i remember that george lucas is the biggest fucking homophobe and that advocating for gay luke is really important because lucas has said over and over that gay people “don’t exist” in the sw comics and apparently threatened to sue gay fans who were publishing their writing in zines, and hyper-masculinized luke in the comics because he thought it would make mlm relate to him less and created a character and romantic arc out of pure hatred for men who love men and that mlm have seen themselves in luke for decades and deserve that representation full fucking stop.

Mark Hamill is the opposite of this, a gay teen asked if Luke is gay and he responded by saying, “of course he’s gay.” He literally did this to say if you as a gay man relate to Luke and feel a connection to him and think he’s gay, then Luke is gay.

Ok listen if you’ve got multiple bisexual people coming onto your post saying “hey this is actually biphobic can you change your wording/apologize?” and your response is to just laugh and brush it off then guess what

I have some news for you

❝ There’s a problem, across the board, with how kids are subliminally taught to think about these things. I had a meeting with the marketing people at Disney, and they were like, “So we’re going to have this toy in the girls’ aisle, this toy in the boys’ aisle.” I was like, “Why the f-ck is there a girls’ aisle and a boys’ aisle?” Sometimes I find myself feeling nervous in certain situations, and that’s because somewhere along the line, I watched something or listened to something or saw a toy, and it f-cking changed the way I think.

Mark Hamill behind the scenes of The Empire Strikes Back. He wore this shirt under his outfit during the Besin Duel. Therefore it had been cut out at the parts where he would get wounded during the fight.
When we met Mark at SW Celebration 2016, he told us that a fashion photographer had visited the set and had taken the photos. But George Lucas hated them and did not want these pictures to be published. But fortunately once they were out he could not prevent them any more from being published and preserved for posterity. 😉

Reblog to do the opposite of what George Lucas wants
