Not counting disney is gonna make this hard hhhh also thank you for asking “why” because it gives me a chance to talk for 50 paragraphs

Also I’m including 2 comic book characters because I honestly had a hell of a time thinking of animated villains I like that aren’t disney.

1. I originally had Bill Cipher at number one but then I remember you said no Disney. Which leaves me to place Gamzee at number one because no matter how old I get I will always love two things: clowns and horror movies. Gamzee is both of those but also he is my son and he deserved better and I love him so much. I will always love Gamzee Makara. Idek if he’s considered a villain anymore really.

2. Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons holy shit I could go on for hours about this guy but I won’t. I love the classy smart cultured villains that go nuts at the drop of a hat. Between his hypnotic voice and intelligence and the way he’s unapologetically bloodthirsty he’s easily on my top 10.

3. Lotor: sexy… handsmoe..alien . wow. Really though wow. He starts out as a villain. One of those smart and cool and calm motherfuckers you want to punch in the face. Then he flips around and ehhh he’s decent. Then you get that big reveal in season six and we get to see how absolutely batshit this guy really is and how warped his methods are and it’s just 👌👌👌 beautiful.

4. Jasper from SU: big buff…. I honestly don’t have a lot of reasoning behind Jasper I just like her design and she’s hot lmao.

5. Dagur from the How to Train Your Dragon series which I’m pretty sure none of my followers have watched but I love him. He’s not a villain at this point anymore but when he was he had a lot of those traits that draw me to a villain. Namely the unstable behavior and obsessiveness. Also he’s buff so…

6. Johnny from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Johnny is the protagonist/main character but he’s still very much a villain. He has the relatable existential crisis’ and disillusionment with humanity so it’s pretty hard not to like him. Double that with his blatant mental illness and the fact that he kills bad people (or those he views as bad anyway) he’s been one of my faves for ages.

7. I’ve failed as a fan I cannot for the life of me think of anymore that aren’t animated or non-disney I’ve failed you anon I’m so sorry
